"I was extremely upset that big green egg did not warranty mine and assembly in that the lower band had completely deteriorated while the top band was still in good shape. There’s no reason for this. They made me buy an entire new set for over $100 obviously the new band is excellent and was easy to install."
"The only instruction were pictures. There were no instructions for adjustment of springless mechanism to control lid lift and drop weight. The you tube videos were useless. It’s an excellent product and makes for a perfect seal and alignment. Which is why I bought it. My wife prefers a hinge that lifts and lowers easily."
