Really not any better than not using it
"I had been making Neapolitan style pizzas on the egg for a while and they mostly turned out great. The struggle came when making more than three or four. Constantly lifting the lid would cool the egg off after multiple pizzas. I thought this accessory would lead ti a better overall experience so opted for it despite the high price. After three uses, I can safely say this is a waste of money. Love the green egg but the pizza oven accessory not so much. Don't waste your money"
