Did it protect the Acacia table as we expected

"We invested in the nearly $1000 extra for the acacia table and had the grill cover as well. We religiously used it the first year and did not grill at all over the winter. When we opened the grill in the spring we were extremely disappointed in the condition of the table. Peeling finish and warping of the wood. We made every reasonable attempt with Big EggCorporate and they were very unresponsive and accusatory. Now we just sand and refinish the table every spring, and continue to religiously use the cover. The cover gets five stars for fit but not for protection"
