Red Chili Scallops

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 8 large sea scallops
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

Method: Direct grilling

  1. Set the EGG for direct grilling at 450°F/232°C.
  2. Pat scallops dry and season with chili flakes, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil on a griddle and sear scallops for 2 minutes per side.
  4. Finish with butter and garnish with cilantro before serving.
