Take your BLT to the next level with succulent grilled salmon. This sandwich layers crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomato with perfectly grilled salmon for a delightful twist on a beloved classic.
Ingredients
- 4 Ea Salmon Filets
- 4 Kaiser Rolls
- 1 lb Bacon Thick Cut
- 4 ea Leaf Lettuce Leaves
- 8 Slices Tomato
- ½ Cup Dijon Mustard
- ½ Cup Honey
- Tt Salt and Pepper
Instructions
EGG SET-UP: Direct Grill, Grill Grates (cast iron if you have them) – 400-450 Degrees
Tools & Accessories Recommended: Cast Iron Pan, Tongs, Spatula
1. Lay salmon on a plate and dry with a paper towl – season with salt and pepper
2. Cook bacon in cast iron pan until crisp
3. Place salmon on a seasoned grill grate and close lid
4. In a small bowl take the dijon mustard and honey and mix well
5. Salmon should be ready to turn in 4-5 minutes
6. Slice and toast the bun on the grill
7. Spoon the honey mustard mixture on the bottom of the bun, place bacon, salmon, lettuce and tomato
