Things are really heating up for the coolest food event in town. EGGtoberfest is the place where fire and flavor are king. After two years of virtual events, we are happy to be going live for 25! Follow us on social media as we deliver a grand slam of Big Green Egg content. Grill, roast, smoke or bake … everything tastes better cooked on the Big Green Egg!
Friday VIP Eat, Drink and Mingle Party
Team Green will be firing up EGGs and sharing their favorite bites with you throughout the evening. Team Green is our group of brand ambassadors, chefs and BGE EGGsperts from around the country, each of whom brings their personal flair and talents to cooking on the EGG. Saturday’s Live Fire Throw Down!
EGGtoberfest will feature international culinary talent cooking on the Big Green Eggs with our “secret ingredient” – 100% Natural Lump Charcoal. You will experience unmatched flavors of your favorite dishes. Guests can sample fare ranging from breakfast dishes to pizza, savory appetizers, to yummy desserts. Cooks will also offer a wide variety of delicious smoked brisket, pulled pork, fall-off-the-bone ribs, spicy sausages, hamburgers, pizzas, and all kinds of other live-fire bites.
Chef Mimmo Alboumeh
Don’t miss Botica’s Chef Mimmo Alboumeh, one of Atlanta’s most personable restaurateurs, who cooks everything from smoked avocado guacamole to paella on his Big Green Egg. As a special culinary treat, Chef Mimmo will be making smoked beef chili with heirloom red-eye peas and Emily G’s peach jam for a tasting like no other!
Chef David Rose
Chef David Rose will feature Korean Barbecue-Style Short Ribs and his amazing Lobster Mac ‘n’ Cheese two of his signature recipes from his cookbook, EGGin’, David Rose Cooks on the Big Green Egg. David is a national brand ambassador for Big Green Egg, a Food Network / TV personality, and Omaha Steaks Executive Chef/Spokesperson. His mantra? Good food and laughter!
Our Missouri cook team will be featuring Buffalo Chicken Monkey Bread, a savory twist on a sweet classic, Smoked Nashville Hot Chicken and Old-Fashioned Blackberry Dump Cake, just like Grandma made!

10:00am: Rev it up! Linkie Marais, an accomplished chef, lifestyle expert and TV personality, who has appeared on the popular show “Food Network Star Season 8.” She will rev things up with Ricky Taylor, an American racing driver, most notably in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
11:00am: Team Green Showdown: Chicken Wings vs Drumsticks
12:00pm: The Team Green Showdown: Tomahawk Ribeye Throwdown
1:00pm: EGGin’ with Chef David Rose – demo and cookbook signing
7th Inning Stretch:
The amazing Seed & Feed Marching Abominables — Atlanta’s wildest community band, will liven up the 7th Inning Stretch with their trademark style of explosive sound and colorful street theatre. The Abominables have been thrilling audiences since 1974, the same year Big Green Egg was founded! Originally formed as part of a theatre company, the band is well known for its costumed performers as well as its high-energy music.
