Stuffed Caprese Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 2 tomato slices
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 2 sandwich buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Method: Direct grilling

  1. Set the EGG for direct cooking at 375°F/191°C.
  2. Cut a pocket into the chicken breasts.
  3. Stuff with mozzarella, basil, and tomato slices.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill for 6 minutes per side until internal temp reaches 165°F.
  6. Place on sandwich buns, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and serve.
