- 2 ribeye steaks
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh thyme for garnish
Instructions
Method: Pan searing and caramelizing
- Preheat the EGG to 500°F/260°C for direct cooking.
- Cook steaks for 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness.
- For onions, sauté in butter and olive oil over medium heat, adding sugar and balsamic vinegar until caramelized.
- Top the steaks with caramelized onions and garnish with thyme.
