Rathbun Chicken

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 2 whole chickens, cut into quarters
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Method: Grilling

  1. Preheat the EGG to 375°F/190°C for indirect cooking.
  2. Whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire, garlic, and onion powder.
  3. Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes in the marinade.
  4. Grill chicken for 30-40 minutes, basting occasionally with marinade, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C.
