- 1 lb thick-cut bacon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
Method: Indirect cooking
- Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 300°F/149°C.
- Mix brown sugar, black pepper, and cayenne.
- Coat bacon with the sugar mixture.
- Place on a rack and cook for 30-40 minutes.
- Brush with maple syrup in the last 5 minutes.
