Ingredients

  • 1 lb thick-cut bacon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

Method: Indirect cooking

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 300°F/149°C.
  2. Mix brown sugar, black pepper, and cayenne.
  3. Coat bacon with the sugar mixture.
  4. Place on a rack and cook for 30-40 minutes.
  5. Brush with maple syrup in the last 5 minutes.
