Parmesan Pine Nut Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

Method: Baking

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut the cold butter into small pieces and work it into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add milk to form a dough.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead for a few turns.
  6. Roll out to about 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter.
  7. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
