Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 Hatch green chilies, roasted and sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
Method: Direct grilling
- Set the EGG for direct cooking at 450°F/232°C.
- Rub steak with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Grill for 5-6 minutes per side until medium-rare.
- Let steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.
- Toast hoagie rolls on the grill.
- Mix mayonnaise and lime juice, spread on rolls.
- Top with steak slices, Hatch chilies, and Monterey Jack cheese.
- Serve warm.
