Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- Coarse salt for topping
Instructions
Method: Indirect baking
- Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar; let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, and melted butter; knead into a smooth dough.
- Let rise for 1 hour.
- Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 375°F/190°C.
- Divide dough into strips, shape into pretzels, and dip in baking soda water.
- Sprinkle with coarse salt and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
