Fire Roasted Poblano and Jalapeno Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 poblano peppers, roasted and chopped
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, roasted and chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Method: Grilling and simmering

  1. Roast the poblano and jalapeno peppers over direct heat until charred. Peel and chop.
  2. Cook ground beef in a pot until browned, then add the roasted peppers, tomatoes, and beans.
  3. Simmer for 30-40 minutes. Season with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
