Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup BBQ rub
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

Method: Indirect smoking

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 250°F/121°C.
  2. Rub ribs with mustard and coat with BBQ rub.
  3. Smoke for 2 hours, then wrap with apple juice, honey, and butter.
  4. Cook wrapped for another 2 hours.
  5. Unwrap, glaze with BBQ sauce, and cook for 30 more minutes.
  6. Rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
