Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 4 large tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

Method: Indirect grilling

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 375°F/190°C.
  2. Brush tomato halves with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Grill for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
