Breakfast Quiche

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Method: Baking

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the cooked bacon and chopped onion into the pie crust, then pour the egg mixture over the top.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the mixture.
  5. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown on top.
  6. Let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
