Big Beef Ribs with Beer

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 4 beef ribs
  • 1 tbsp coarse salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup dark beer
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

Method: Indirect smoking

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 275°F/135°C.
  2. Season ribs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Smoke for 3 hours.
  4. Wrap ribs in foil with beer and continue smoking for 2 more hours.
  5. Unwrap, brush with barbecue sauce, and smoke for another hour.
  6. Serve hot.
