- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 sandwich rolls
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup pickles (optional)
Instructions
Method: Grilling
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and olive oil.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Brush the BBQ sauce onto the chicken in the last 2 minutes of grilling to allow it to caramelize.
- Toast the sandwich rolls on the grill until golden brown.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing the grilled chicken on the roll, topping with shredded cheddar cheese and pickles if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
