Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 2 cans baked beans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lb bacon, chopped

Instructions

Method: Indirect cooking

  1. Preheat the EGG to 325°F/163°C for indirect cooking.
  2. Cook bacon and onion until crispy in a pan, then mix with baked beans, brown sugar, mustard, molasses, ketchup, and BBQ sauce.
  3. Place beans in a cast-iron skillet and cook in the EGG for 45-60 minutes, stirring halfway through.
