Bacon-Wrapped Pig Wings

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 12 pork shanks (\"pig wings\")
  • 12 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 2 tbsp BBQ dry rub
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

Method: Indirect grilling

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 300°F/150°C.
  2. Wrap each pork shank with bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Season with BBQ dry rub and place on the grill.
  4. Smoke for 1.5 hours, flipping occasionally.
  5. Mix BBQ sauce, honey, and vinegar in a bowl. Brush over pig wings.
  6. Cook for another 20 minutes until caramelized.
  7. Serve hot.
