Ingredients
- 1 Chicken, cut 8 piece
- 1 c Pineapple Juice
- 1/3 c Soy Sauce
- 1/3 c Brown Sugar
- 1/3 c Ketchup
- 1/2 c Chicken Stock
- 1 each 2 inch Ginger, peeled and chopped fine
- 5 each cloves Garlic, chopped fine
- 1 ea Bag Fresh Broccoli Flowerets
- 1 Box White Rice
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
Big Green Egg Set-up:
Direct 350 degrees, Cooking Grate Stainless or Cast Iron, BGE Perforated half grid pan
Tips: Make sure grates are clean

Tongs, Instant Read thermometer
For the Rice:
1. 4 c Cooked Rice – Cook According to instructions
For the Broccoli:
4 c Broccoli
Olive oil
Salt and Pepper
1. Lightly coat the broccoli with olive oil and dust with salt and pepper.
2. Add to the BGE perforated half grid and grill until you see some grill color and remove
Chicken
1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl
2. Pour the mixture over the chicken and allow to marinate over night
3. When ready, Fire up the Egg, ideal temperature 350
4. Place the chicken on the grates and close that lid
5. After about 8-10 minutes, turn your chicken – You will have some caramelization and color
Chicken has to be 165 degrees no matter, use The Big Green Egg Instant Read Thermometer to confirm temperature
BIG GREEN EGG TIP:
Take the Huli Huli marinade, add to a small sauce pan and BOIL it. It must boil! You can then use this as a sauce to add right at the end of cooking to give another layer of flavor.
