Ultimate Bacon Jam Burger

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup bacon jam
  • 1/4 cup caramelized onions
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Method: Direct grilling

  1. Set the EGG for direct cooking at 400°F/204°C.
  2. Form ground beef into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill burgers for 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Top with cheddar cheese and let melt.
  5. Toast burger buns with butter.
  6. Assemble burgers with bacon jam and caramelized onions.
  7. Serve hot.
