Ingredients
- 4 venison cube steaks
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Method: Pan-Frying
- Soak venison steaks in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove the steaks from the buttermilk, dredge them in the flour mixture, and fry them in the skillet for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve with mashed potatoes or your favorite side dish.
