Shrimp & Cheddar Tostada

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tostada shells
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Method: Grilling and assembling

  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and lime juice. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
  3. Place tostada shells on a serving plate and top each with grilled shrimp.
  4. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and return to the grill or broiler for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  5. Drizzle with sour cream and salsa, and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
