Moroccan Meatball Sliders

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 mini slider buns
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Tzatziki sauce for serving

Instructions

Method: Grilling or Pan-Frying

  1. In a bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the meatballs for 4-5 minutes, turning to cook all sides evenly.
  5. Toast the slider buns and assemble the sliders by placing a meatball on each bun, then topping with tzatziki sauce.
  6. Serve immediately!
