Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 4 English muffins, split
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

Instructions

Serves: 4

Method: Direct grilling

  1. Set the EGG for direct cooking at 350°F/177°C.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise together.
  3. Spread the mixture on the cut sides of the English muffins.
  4. Layer ham and Swiss cheese on the bottom halves of the muffins, then top with the other halves to form sandwiches.
  5. Spread the softened butter on the outside of each sandwich.
  6. Place the sandwiches on the EGG and grill for 2-3 minutes per side, pressing down gently with a spatula, until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the EGG, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
