Grilled Cheesesteak Pizza

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough ball
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

Method: Indirect baking

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 450°F/232°C with a pizza stone.
  2. Sauté steak, peppers, and onions in olive oil until cooked through.
  3. Roll out pizza dough and place on a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal.
  4. Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  5. Add cheese, then top with steak, peppers, and onions.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
