Goat Cheese Portobello Mushroom Burger

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 4 portobello mushroom caps
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese
  • 1/4 cup spinach, sautéed
  • 1/4 cup balsamic reduction
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

Method: Grilling

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Sauté spinach in olive oil until wilted. Set aside.
  3. Grill mushroom caps for 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Top each mushroom with goat cheese and sautéed spinach. Grill for another minute to melt the cheese.
  5. Serve on burger buns with a drizzle of balsamic reduction.
