Durum Bread with Cranberries and Nuts

Ingredients

  • 3 cups durum wheat flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Method: Indirect baking

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 375°F/191°C.
  2. Mix yeast, warm water, and honey. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add flour, salt, cranberries, and walnuts, kneading into a dough.
  4. Let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Shape dough into a loaf and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Let cool before slicing.
