Dr. BBQ's Pork Chops

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Serves: 4

Method: Direct grilling

  1. Set the EGG for direct cooking at 400°F/204°C.
  2. Brush the pork chops with olive oil. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture evenly over the pork chops.
  3. Place the pork chops on the EGG and grill for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F/63°C.
  4. Remove from the EGG and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
