Crab Cakes

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Method: Griddle cooking

  1. Mix all ingredients except butter.
  2. Form into patties and chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat butter on a griddle at 375°F/190°C.
  4. Cook crab cakes for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Serve with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
