Country Ham, Shrimp & Grits Kabobs

Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 12 large shrimp, peeled
  • 6 slices country ham, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup cooked grits
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

Method: Skewer grilling

  1. Set the EGG for direct grilling at 400°F/204°C.
  2. Skewer shrimp and country ham pieces.
  3. Brush with butter and season with paprika and black pepper.
  4. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Serve over warm grits mixed with cheddar cheese.
