Smoking Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

Method: Baking

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Add the cooked sausage, bell peppers, onions, and cheese to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and lightly golden on top.
  6. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
