Baby Back Ribs with Apple-Bourbon Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

Method: Indirect smoking

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 250°F/121°C.
  2. Rub ribs with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Smoke for 3 hours.
  4. In a saucepan, mix vinegar, bourbon, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Brush ribs with sauce and cook for 1 more hour.
  7. Serve with additional sauce.
