Apple-Walnut Crostata with Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 2 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

Method: Indirect baking

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 375°F/191°C.
  2. Roll out the pie crust on parchment paper.
  3. Mix apples, walnuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a bowl.
  4. Spread mixture over the crust, leaving a 2-inch border.
  5. Fold edges over the filling and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
