The pair is united by shared values, emphasizing true craftsmanship, highest quality, and a passion for great flavor. Together, they set out to reinvent the traditional bourbon-making process — each bringing their own talents to the table — to develop a smoked bourbon unlike any other you’ve sipped before.

And that is precisely what’s being poured. It's a blend of sweet, smooth bourbon with notes of caramel and honey, and a toasty oakiness that could only come from the kind of partnership that Big Green Egg and ASW Distillery have cooked up. A true masterpiece, if we say so ourselves.

Georgia Born and Bottled

The journey to ASW Big Green Egg Bourbon begins in new, charred, American white oak barrels. Georgia White Oak heartwood staves harvested each winter by ASW Distillery’s Master Distiller Justin Manglitz from storm-downed oak trees are seasoned then carefully smoked on the Big Green Egg, indirectly and directly, using Big Green Egg Oak and Hickory charcoal.

The staves are placed in the bourbon barrels, and the liquid gold is aged for flavor before being bottled for your enjoyment. Each drop is lovingly hand-crafted with equal parts flavor and enthusiasm.
