Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

Method: Indirect roasting

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 375°F/191°C.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and mix with brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Layer sweet potatoes in a baking dish and pour mixture over them.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Sprinkle with pecans before serving.
