Butterscotch Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 tbsp sugar (for topping)

Instructions

Method: Indirect baking

  1. Set the EGG for indirect cooking at 375°F/191°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles crumbs.
  4. Stir in buttermilk and butterscotch chips.
  5. Drop dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 12-15 minutes.
