Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk

Instructions

Method: Baking

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F/190°C.
  2. Mix together the flours, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add buttermilk and stir until dough forms.
  4. Knead briefly and shape into a round loaf.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
