HR Coordinator

Job Overview:
Big Green Egg, the world’s leading producer of premier outdoor cooking systems, is seeking an HR Coordinator. As an HR Coordinator, this role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our HR department. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a passion for HR and a strong ability to multitask. This full-time role reports to the Head of People & Culture.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive HR filing system, both physical and digital.
- Prepare and distribute HR documentation, such as offer letters, new hire documents, vendor contracts, and performance review forms.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, and other employee or recruiting events.
- Assist with the onboarding process, orientation, new hire logistics, and new hire paperwork.
- Provide administrative support for HR initiatives and projects.
- HR Operations:
- Support the recruitment process as needed.
- Assist with employee relations matters, such as addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Provide support for benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and questions.
- Assist with the performance management process, including scheduling reviews and tracking performance metrics.
- Complete and submit Payroll accurately every other week,
- Project Support:
- Collaborate with the Head of People and Culture on various HR projects, such as implementing new HR policies or programs.
- Conduct research and analysis to support HR decision-making.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- General HR Support:
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR information.
- Assist with HR-related compliance, metrics and reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR or a related field.
- Payroll experience, preferred especially PayCor.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
- Passion for outdoor cooking, grilling and great food.
Working Conditions:
- The role may require frequent travel and flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on event schedules.
