Distributor Development Sales Manager

Responsibilities:
- Personal engagement with distributor sales teams to develop playbooks and drive best practice sales techniques to enhance sales growth opportunities
- Cultivate relationships with and between all levels of distributor and Big Green Egg personnel and keep Big Green Egg sales growth high in their awareness and focus.
- Develop and execute business and marketing plans through assigned distributors.
- Introduce new products and enhance distributor sales/service capabilities through direct presentations, training, and utilizing other resources.
- Educate Dealer Sales Representatives on Big Green Egg products and train in the most effective sales techniques and lead generation.
- Assist distributors with dealers in jeopardy
- Monitor and assist with distributor inventory levels to ensure dealers have the correct items and quantities to maximize sales opportunities
- Time spent in the field with the distributor sales teams ensuring the execution of Fast Field, making suggested orders to drive Tier compliance at the dealer level
- Review Co Op spend details directly with the assigned distributors and make necessary adjustments to maximize advertising spend and brand awareness.
- Serve distributor(s) independently within the framework of distributor pricing, policies and sales objectives. Individual account activity must be coordinated with overall customer sales and service strategies.
- Hit and strive to exceed targets set for Dealer growth, Tier compliance and New Product introductions
- Track and monitor Omnichannel sales to ensure customers are receiving timely communication from dealers on anticipated delivery date.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, promoting the Big Green Egg brand and networking with potential customers and partners.
- Sales objectives to be determined by direct supervisor.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets.
- Experience in the outdoor cooking, grilling, or related industry is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and dealers.
- Strategic thinker, with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies in response to changing market conditions.
- Results-oriented and customer-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and support.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support the sales team in the field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Physical Work Requirements: Sedentary Work
Sedentary Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
