About Kevin Rathbun

Kevin Rathbun entered the restaurant business at the age of 14 as an apprentice. Today he is one of the top chefs in Atlanta and is highly regarded nationally for his culinary accomplishments, his innovative approach to food and his acclaimed Rathbun's Atlanta restaurant.
He has won dozens of top chef and top restaurant awards. The James Beard Foundation named young Chef Kevin Rathbun as the "Rising Star Chef" in 1994. Since Rathbun's opened, Travel & Leisure designated it as "Best New American Restaurant," Atlanta Magazine named it "Restaurant of the Year," and Bon Appetit Magazine declared it a "Hot 50 Restaurant." Rathbun's was ranked as the "Second Most Popular Restaurant in Atlanta" by the 2006-2007 Zagat Guide.
The good news is that Kevin is an avid barbecuer and an enthusiastic EGGhead who believes that anything that can be cooked will be better cooked on the EGG.
