Chicken Wing Dry Rub

Use this recipe on chicken wings or any of your grilling favorites.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar In The Raw
  • 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons good quality chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper, finely ground
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

Mix together and store in an airtight container.

Makes about ¾ cup

  1. Tried this on my last batch of wings. Loved it as is! Plan to incorporate this with other meats. Each bite you taste a different part of the rub. This one is spot on!!!

  2. This rub is good but too spicy. We made it last night on wings and the flavor was great but the kick was a little too much

    1. I’m going to try it with your comment in mind. I plan on backing down on the pepper, and chili powder, and leave out the cayenne pepper altogether.

  3. I have been distraught since BGE stopped making their BGE gourmet seasoning. Can someone recommend a suitable replacement?
