I have been using Big Green Egg DigiQ DX2 for over 2 years now and I love it. I have never had a problem with it. I t does what they claim. I smoke a porkbutt for 10 to 14 hrs and it maintains that temp for the whole cook time. I will never do a low and slow or a bake cook on my Big Green Egg without it .

Purchased week ago has not disappointed. Game changer for long slow & low smokes. Held for 6 hours at 170F. Little spendy but well worth the investment.

The DigiQ DX2 was a gift from my folks. I actually cook with a competitor of the BGE, but the DigiQ DX2 mounts right up and works perfectly! I can put on a brisket before I go to bed, and at lunch time the next day, the Brisket is done perfectly and the temperature is still holding perfect 12 hours later! I only had one minor problem, but the customer care took care of it immediately without question and I never missed a cook! The DigiQ is definitely the most valuable tool in my cooking arsenal!!

Wow this takes all the heartache out of low and slow will also pay for itself over time with lost meat and charcoal cost , Your cooks will be much better and spot on.

Set it and forget it, this is a must have for the BBQ when doing anything low & slow. I must admit I love hanging around the Egg having a drink or two, smoking my favorite cigar. but every so often the lawn needs mowing and a person has to sleep. and that’s when DigiQ is perfect ,like I said set it and forget it.

I like my DigiQ, but I wish there was a way to monitor the food temperature remotely. I also can’t use it when grilling in the rain because I have to plug it into an electrical outlet. However, it’s great for cooking low and slow when the weather is dry – can’t beat it!
